All needs met...in Christ.

I was taught in a lecture before that Maslow's hierarchy of needs apply to everyone. Furthermore, each level of need must be met before attempting to meet the level above it. And so, most of us spend a lifetime trying to attain self-actualization, struggling with the levels below it. Let's see what Scripture says about this lifelong struggle for the Christian believer:

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from His glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:19 (NLT)

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. - Matthew 6:33 (ESV)

If Scripture is true, I suppose I should start praying more often, and about everything in my life. Don't you think so too?
